Along the southern Oregon Coast in the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, there are a series of coves, embayments and beaches that are all glorious natural treasures.
A visit to these places, timed just right, can provide you a evening of solitude to enjoy the tide pools, the impressive views and a glorious sunset.

This photo was taken in June during the first year of the covid pandemic. Things were still very shut down, but I was able to travel and camp to enjoy a nearly abandoned coastline for a week. That trip was one of precious few that year, and the memory of it helped carry me through the darkest parts of that year.
